Why now
AI can create abundance. The transition could still hurt.
AI is making organisations more productive while reducing the amount of human labour needed for the same output. The risk is not that society produces too little. It is that ownership, income and economic participation become too concentrated while the old employment model weakens.

Without new forms of participation, the productivity gain can accumulate around the owners of AI, infrastructure and automated capital.
